I love that it would be so easy to post warnings for dangers up ahead. You’d think that alone would be a huge selling point.

Surely this road would pay for itself in places that experience heavy snow over winter? I can’t imagine the yearly costs for clearing roads is that low.

I doubt this will be adopted by any local governments any time soon, but there’s nothing to stop small communities and homeowners from getting the ball rolling!

I harbor secret hopes that one day humankind’s desire for financial gain will be the catalyst for finding truly renewable sources of energy as opposed to an obstacle for replacing the burning of fossil fuels. We’ll reach a tipping point here soon where renewable energy will need to be maximized for our current economic system to stay afloat. Unfortunately, what remains to be seen is whether that tipping point comes soon enough.

I guess that it’s hard for many people to care about long term solutions. They are living the here and now and don’t want anything to disturb their daily routines. Even when you make such a strong point with no holes…it seems like there’s nothing to lose! It still takes courage to make 180 degree changes, so first you need to educate people about why end-results would be so great.
Once again…it all comes down to education!
