WordPress is an excellent platform for teacher or student blogs.

WordPress makes networking easy, and if students are using WordPress, their peers can easily follow their blogs with an aggregator like Feedly.

Many teachers are joining the blogging fraternity, sharing best practices, trends and inspirational stories about their classrooms. If you are beginning blogger, WordPress is a great place to start. It’s user friendly, and has more features than some of its competitors.

This brief video demonstrates how to create a new post on WordPress and add pictures, categories and tags.

Are you using WordPress? If so, what features do you enjoy? Please share your blogging experiences in our comment section below.
