It’s probably why I decry most commercialized blogs, because everything is designed to capture your information, force you to look front and center at the advertisement, etc. I wonder if fewer educators who commercialized choose less obtrusive tactics, would those of us that can get a bit preachy calm down a bit?

I’m rather curious though, what prompted a post like this? Are there individuals or bogging entities that contact you on a regular basis and implore you to read their blog? Or is this a general “hey, be a better blogger, mechanically speaking” sort of post?
