This infographic by Online Universities suggests 15 ideas for rebuilding college. I agree with some and disagree with others.
Although I’m a huge fan of changing grading in the K-20 world, I’m not certain that moving to badges instead of letter grades makes sense. Admittedly, I don’t know a lot about the badge system, but it feels a lot like measuring success and failure, which I can’t tolerate.
Charging faculty for the use of departments would increase revenue, but it might chase out quality educators.
